Job summary

AECOM is seeking an Intern Geologist for the Arlington, Virginia office. This Federal Group internship supports a team conducting investigation and remediation projects under supervision, with emphasis on health and safety, detailed work, and strong communication.

The ideal candidate is pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Geology (or related fields), is legally eligible to work in the US, and can visit project sites with a valid driver's license. Start date ASAP and travel is required.

Qualifications

• Pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Geology or a related discipline.
• US Citizenship is required for the role.
• Valid U.S. Driver’s License is required to visit project sites.

Responsibilities

• Utilize basic scientific principles to develop solutions for technical problems with limited scope.
