Job summary

Verdantas LLC is seeking a geoscience field technician to support environmental investigations across water resources, land use, energy, and infrastructure projects. You will assist with soil and rock sampling, groundwater monitoring, and data collection in field settings.

The role requires a Bachelor's degree in Geology or Environmental Engineering, 0–2 years of experience, a valid driver's license, and the ability to travel frequently.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Geology, Environmental Engineering, or related discipline.
• 0-2 years of relevant experience.
• Ability to conduct fieldwork with some heavy lifting.

Responsibilities

• Assist with field investigations, including soil and rock sampling, drilling oversight, and groundwater monitoring.
• Collect and interpret geologic and environmental data through field observations, measurements, and testing.
• Prepare logs, maps, and figures to support technical reports.
• Perform data analysis and assist in drafting reports, proposals, and recommendations.
• Follow SOPs and safety protocols in field and lab settings.
