Job summary

Roux is seeking a Field Technician/Environmental Field Specialist to support project teams on environmental investigation and remediation projects. The role involves field sampling, supervising subcontractors, and directing junior field staff to ensure accurate data collection and site operations.

The position requires a Bachelor’s degree and at least one year of environmental consulting experience, with hands‑on capability in drilling techniques and data deliverables.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant technical field is required.
• Minimum of 1 year of environmental consulting experience.
• Experience in field sampling and supervising subcontractors.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and implement field project work, oversee drilling and sampling of environmental media, and supervise subcontractors.
• Prepare technical reports by coordinating figures, data tables, site descriptions, and other details.
• Analyze field data to ensure project completion and quality of deliverables.
