You will document actions, follow safety protocols, and stay current with industry practices while contributing to efficient service outcomes for healthcare IT environments.

Qualifications

• Thorough understanding of diesel and gasoline engines, electrical systems, and generator components.
• Strong electrical and mechanical troubleshooting skills, including ability to read technical drawings and schematics.
• Completion of a technical program in electrical or mechanical engineering, or equivalent experience.

Responsibilities

• Inspect and diagnose mechanical and electrical issues with generators.
• Perform routine and preventive maintenance to minimize generator downtime.
• Repair malfunctioning generators and replace defective components as necessary.
• Oversee and assist with installation of new generators and ensure full operability.
• Test generator output to confirm compliance with specifications.
• Maintain detailed documentation of maintenance, repairs, inspections, and service actions.
• Adhere to safety protocols and educate customers on operation and safety.
