Job summary

Generac is seeking a Generator Technician II to provide on-site and phone troubleshooting, repair, and installation support for industrial generators. This role involves reading manuals, performing maintenance, and commissioning equipment, with travel up to 50%.

Candidates should have a High School Diploma, a valid driver's license, and 4 years of EPSS service experience. Knowledge of mechanical/electrical systems and ability to report findings promptly is required.

Qualifications

• 4 years servicing and troubleshooting of EPSS.
• High School Diploma and Valid Driver License.
• Associate degree in Electrical or Mechanical Eng preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform mechanical, electrical troubleshooting and repair of generators.
• Provide emergency/unscheduled repairs during and after hours.
• Perform preventative maintenance on generators.
• Read manuals and schematics to guide maintenance.
• Create and report findings via FieldServio.
• Conduct equipment commissioning for industrial products.
