Job summary

Janus International is seeking a Security Systems Technician to service and install electronic security solutions for commercial, retail, and industrial clients across multiple states. The ideal candidate will have strong mechanical and electrical skills, and the ability to work on ladders and lifts while delivering superior customer service.

Responsibilities include wiring, conduit installation, and supporting installations with CCTV, access control, and burglar alarm systems.

Qualifications

• Valid driver’s license and a clean driving record.
• Previous low voltage installation experience.
• Experience in welding is a plus.
• 1-3 years’ experience as a Security Systems Technician
• OSHA 10 training is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Service and installation of electronic security solutions for commercial, retail, and industrial sites.
• Work with CCTV Surveillance Systems, Access Control Systems, Burglar Alarm Systems, and Gate Entry Systems.
• Demonstrate strong mechanical and electrical skills.
• Ability to work on ladders and lifts.
• Collaborate with team or work independently on projects.
• Explain technical information to non-technical individuals.
• Install conduit and efficiently run cable/wire.
• Maintain knowledge of products and services offered.
• Represent the company professionally with customers.
• Stay organized, self-driven, and customer service oriented.
• Proficient in Security and Alarm based Applications.
• Excellent troubleshooting and diagnostic skills.
