Job summary

GWC Capital is seeking a field technician to perform fueling and preventive maintenance at construction sites around Apache Junction, AZ. The role requires keeping precise fuel/oil logs, following safety procedures, and maintaining equipment in good working order.

You will coordinate with the Equipment Superintendent and operations staff to manage costs and ensure timely service. Candidates should have CDL, Hazmat and Tanker endorsements, be able to work in a field/shop environment, and travel

Qualifications

• 2-3 years of prior experience in a similar role.
• Knowledge of machines and tools, including their designs, uses, repair and maintenance.
• Ability to take direction from management and learn quickly.
• Ability to work in field and shop environments with minimal supervision.
• Willing to work in all weather conditions and maintain safety first.

Responsibilities

• Perform required fueling and preventive maintenance at construction job sites.
• Control fuel and preventive maintenance costs.
• Ensure fuel and oils are topped off and logs are kept up to date.
• Maintain good communication with Equipment Superintendent and operations staff.
• Keep detailed fuel/oil usage logs and report discrepancies.
• Maintain company equipment in clean, orderly condition and safe working state.
• Work safely at all times and follow safety policies.
• Comply with company policies, procedures and standards.
• Inform supervisors about service dates, condition and recommended actions.
