Job summary

Fraza & Vitan Equipment seeks a skilled Forklift Technician to troubleshoot and repair heavy‑duty material handling equipment across mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems in a fast-paced, field-based role.

You will travel to customer sites daily, perform preventative maintenance, and ensure equipment safety and compliance while communicating clearly with dispatch. A strong diagnostic mindset and 2+ years of hands-on forklift or heavy equipment repair are required.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of hands-on experience repairing forklifts or heavy equipment (electric, propane, and diesel).
• Strong diagnostic instincts and a safety-first mindset on the job.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot and repair complex mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems.
• Perform preventative maintenance and emergency repairs to minimize customer downtime.
• Hit the road to various customer sites—every day brings a different machine and a new challenge.
• Ensure all equipment is safe, compliant, and up to solid operating standards.
• Log your service work accurately and communicate clearly with the branch dispatch team.
