Job summary

Fraza & Vitan Equipment is seeking a skilled Forklift Technician to troubleshoot and repair heavy‑duty material handling equipment. This field-based role requires diagnosing mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems to keep our customers’ operations moving.

You will perform preventative maintenance and emergency repairs, travel to customer sites daily, and ensure safety and compliance of all equipment. Log work accurately and communicate with the dispatch team to optimize service delivery.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of hands-on experience repairing forklifts or heavy equipment (electric, propane, and diesel).
• Strong diagnostic instincts and a safety-first mindset on the job.
• Valid driver’s license and a clean driving record for the company truck.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot and repair complex mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems.
• Perform preventative maintenance and emergency repairs to minimize customer downtime.
• Hit the road to various customer sites—every day brings a different machine and a new challenge.
• Ensure all equipment is safe, compliant, and up to solid operating standards.
• Log your service work accurately and communicate clearly with the branch dispatch team.
