• Train and supervise student employees in forestry-related tasks.
• Maintain buildings, grounds, facilities and equipment.
• Work with managers and students on timber harvest operations and research demonstrations.
• Lead field labs and forestry-related activities for classes and camps.
• Assist with safety training and operate heavy equipment as needed.
• Operate and repair heavy equipment including cable skidder, tractors, bulldozer and saws.
• Plow snow and groom trails as required.
• Conduct road maintenance and collect forest inventory data.
