Job summary

Asplundh Tree Expert, LLC in Utah is seeking a Foreperson to supervise and coordinate daily crew activities on field projects. The role requires planning work, enforcing safety practices, and ensuring quality execution.

You will train crew members, communicate with property owners, maintain records, and help manage costs and resources while upholding company standards and OSHA guidelines. A valid driver license is required with CDL preferred.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Understanding of drawings and symbols representing lines, voltages, line equipment, etc.
• Excellent communication and leadership skills.
• Strong organizational ability and multitasking capability.
• Ability to work with hands above head for extended periods.
• Possess or be eligible for a valid company vehicle license.
• Willing to join and pay local union dues.

Responsibilities

• Plans, coordinates, and assigns daily work for the crew after receiving orders from a supervisor.
• Conducts field training and retraining of crew on job units.
• Enforces safe work practices per policy and OSHA guidelines.
• Communicates with property owners about access, work scope, and safety.
• Obtains permission to perform required work from property owners.
• Maintains crew records, timesheets, and reports.
• Controls crew costs and optimizes resources.
• Furnishes reports on orders completed and crew performance.
• Cooperates with customers, police, and fire departments when necessary.
