Davey Resource Group, Inc. is seeking a UAM Reliability Services Foreperson to lead field crews in utility pole inspections and restoration across Texas. You will manage resources, ensure safety and quality, and travel extensively with lodging and company vehicle support.

Qualifications

• Ability to prioritize tasks and work with limited supervision.
• Lead and mentor team members with a focus on continuous improvement.
• Analyze problems, plan alternatives, anticipate outcomes and allocate resources.
• Knowledge of utility infrastructure, electric hazards and equipment.
• Proficiency in pole inspection and restoration and ability to train others.
• Experience following best practices for utility poles and related infra.
• Able to work independently in a field setting.
• Valid driver’s license and clean MVR; must pass safety course.
• Ability to obtain pesticide license where required.
• Comfort using field tech (GPS, iPads, GIS) and navigation tools.
• Effective one-on-one and group communication.
• Follow detailed instructions and maintain safety standards.
• Proficient in English and Google Workspace tools.

Responsibilities

• Serve as a working foreman, performing daily field tasks with crew.
• Lead by example in pole inspections, restoration work and field ops.
• Ensure safety, quality, production and compliance standards.
• Supervise and support daily pole inspection/restoration tasks.
• Oversee team scheduling and attendance.
• Communicate daily progress and issues to Project Manager.
• Provide on-the-job training and performance feedback.
• Lead safety efforts and collaborate on investigations.
• Conduct daily safety and quality inspections for compliance.
• Assist in hiring and ongoing training of new employees.
• Operate company vehicles and maintain equipment.
• Use GPS, GIS, and field apps for documentation and data collection.
• Perform field tasks including inspections, excavations and restorations.
• Use handheld/pneumatic tools as needed.
• Interact professionally with landowners and represent the company.
• Maintain clean job sites and safe work practices.
• Stay current with new tech and apply in field ops.
• Travel extensively (75–100%) as project requires.
• Respond appropriately in emergencies and follow policies.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
