Job summary

W3Global is seeking an experienced Construction Foreman / Installer to lead field crews in installing commercial playgrounds, athletic fields, tracks, and park spaces in Greater Boston and Eastern Massachusetts. This is a full-time, year-round role with hands-on supervision, safety oversight, and a focus on quality.

Responsibilities include planning daily/weekly work, coordinating with contractors, operating equipment, reading drawings, and training crews.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum 5 years of playground installation or closely related construction experience.
• Experience with playground systems such as LSI, GameTime, Kompan, or similar.
• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
• Ability to read and interpret construction drawings, layouts, and grading plans.
• Comfortable using mobile job-management tools and technology.
• Strong communication and leadership skills.
• Ability to travel and stay overnight for 5+ days when required.
• Preferred: Hydraulic license or willingness to obtain within 60 days, CDL Class A/B, DOT Medical Card, CSPI, NPCAI.

Responsibilities

• Lead and organize daily and weekly work plans for field crews.
• Install commercial playground equipment and related site features according to manufacturer specifications and project drawings.
• Operate equipment including mini excavators, skid steers, and other construction machinery as needed.
• Ensure all work meets safety standards, project specifications, and quality expectations.
• Provide hands‑on direction, training, and support to crew members in the field.
• Track crew hours and complete daily job reports.
• Coordinate with general contractors, superintendents, and project managers regarding site logistics, deliveries, and scheduling.
• Conduct weekly safety meetings and promote a strong safety culture.
• Attend job-site meetings as required.
• Maintain a professional and organized work environment while ensuring projects remain on schedule.
