Job summary

MasTec Communications Group is seeking a Field Foreman to lead daily site construction activities, ensure safety compliance, and manage crew performance. You will oversee operations, maintain documentation, and coordinate with customer representatives to ensure quality work.

The role emphasizes hands-on leadership, problem-solving, and adherence to OSHA/industry standards while supporting long-term project goals.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED; technical degree preferred.
• At least 5 years of industry experience.
• WSA certification is a plus.
• Must be at least 21 years old.
• OSHA 10 certification.
• Ability to operate aerial lifts, man lifts, skid steers, and aerial platform equipment.
• Ability to read site plans, RFDS, and construction drawings.
• Able to lift up to 50 lbs and work up to 12 hours.

Responsibilities

• Lead daily site construction work to meet production goals.
• Ensure safety policies and Industry standards are followed.
• Oversee operations and quality of work at sites.
• Maintain daily paperwork and closeout documentation.
• Coordinate with customer representatives and maintain relationships.
• Train and mentor crew members; provide leadership.

Responsibilities

As a Field Foreman, you are responsible for leading the daily site construction work efforts to ensure the crew meets production goals determined by leadership. You believe in doing the job right. Being the best. And you’re up for the challenge.

In addition, you will:

• Understand and implement MasTec Communications Group's Health, Safety, and Environmental Policies (Safety Manual)
• Understand and implement Industry standards (OSHA, TIA10-48, NATE CTS, and ANSI)
• Ensure safety requirements at your sites and with your crew
• Oversee the daily operations and quality of work performed at assigned sites
• Maintain daily paperwork required for the site and the crew
• Implement and follow through with job instructions provided by leadership
• Compile all site-specific closeout documentation for your work effort
• Upload closeout documentation to customer interfaces
• Coordinate with the customer representative for site-related activities and maintain a good working relationship with the customer representative
• Provide leadership, guidance, and actively train/promote learning to all crew members
• Always maintain equipment and vehicles in operational condition
• Validate daily timesheets for Management
• Conduct other duties as assigned

Qualifications

• You enjoy getting your hands dirty with your team
• You have a High school diploma or general education degree (GED), and a technical degree is preferred
• You have at least 5 years of industry experience
• Possessing a WSA certification is a plus
• Must be at least 21 years old
• You have demonstrated expertise in construction skills, rigging, safety, and general industry knowledge
• You possess job-related certifications, like First Aid, Safety, and Rescue
• You have the ability to operate aerial lifts, man lifts, skid steers, and aerial platform equipment
• You must be able to read and interpret site plans, RFDS, construction drawings, and SOW
• You must be able to pick up to 50 lbs., and be capable of working up to 12 hours
• You have the ability to identify and distinguish colors
• You possess 10+ years of experience
• You have possession of OSHA 10
• You have excavator training
• You have a valid driver's license (Applicants are subject to a Motor Vehicle Record (MVR) review and must meet company standards for a safe driving record)

Compensation of $37-$40 per hour, depending on the experience.
