Job summary

Sysco is seeking an experienced outside sales professional to promote products and services, build new and existing account relationships, and help customers succeed while achieving sales and profit targets. This role may require evenings, weekends or holidays to meet customer needs.

Ideal candidates include those with restaurant management, culinary, or chef backgrounds, strong communication skills, and the ability to learn different market segments. Travel by personal vehicle is expected.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in sales or hospitality.
• Experience in B2B outside sales or restaurant management preferred.
• Willingness to travel and learn diverse market segments.

Responsibilities

• Develop new business and penetrate accounts to achieve profitable growth.
• Qualify prospects and research customer needs to tailor solutions.
• Provide product information and training to customer personnel.
• Drive personal vehicle to customer accounts and events.
• Maintain sales records, budgets, and reports.
