Job summary

Yellowjacket Oilfield Services, LLC is seeking a field service professional for downhole fishing operations. You will consult with supervisors and engineers to define wellbore specs, select tools, and carry out corrective actions on cased and open sections of wells, while maintaining safety and quality standards.

The role requires at least three years of fishing tool experience, a valid driver’s license, and the ability to lift 50 lbs.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum three (3) years of downhole fishing tool experience.
• Valid driver’s license and acceptable MVR.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
• Ability to work outdoors in extreme weather.
• Flexibility to travel as job requires.

Responsibilities

• Consults with superintendent, engineer, and site representatives to gather wellbore specs and communicate corrective actions.
• Identify and order appropriate specialized tools and equipment.
• Execute plan using specialized tools to recover equipment in wells.
• Supervises rig crew in operating fishing tools.
• Follow SOPs and safety policies; comply with training and company policies.
• Perform daily maintenance on equipment.
• Prepare and maintain paperwork for tools, deliveries, tickets, reports and resumes.
• Submit daily activity reports on location.
• Promote Yellowjacket product lines to customers.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
