Job summary

Gardiner is seeking a Fire Sprinkler Technician to perform inspections, maintenance, and repairs on fire sprinkler systems in Solon, OH, working in the field to keep facilities safe and compliant.

Qualifications

• State of Ohio Fire License is required.
• 4+ years of sprinkler and backflow experience.
• Comfortable using a computer, mobile devices, and service software for reporting and documentation.
• NICET and/or backflow certification is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Perform inspections, maintenance, repairs, and system replacements for fire sprinkler systems in alignment with applicable codes, standards, and safety regulations
• Service, inspect, and troubleshoot wet, dry, and pre-action fire suppression systems to support reliable performance
• Conduct fire pump testing and complete necessary repairs to maintain life-safety readiness
• Perform fire hydrant flow testing and complete hydrant repairs as needed
• Document inspections and service activities accurately and communicate findings with customers and internal teams
• Serve as a trusted technical resource while delivering high-quality, customer-focused service in the field
