Job summary

Fire Equipment Inc. (FEI) is seeking a Fire Alarm Technician in Agawam, MA to service, inspect, and repair fire alarm systems for our established customer base. This field-based role supports project coordination and customer interaction as needed.

The ideal candidate is licensed with hands-on experience in fire alarm testing, programming, and service. Strong troubleshooting skills and ability to work independently are essential.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Valid driver’s license required.
• Massachusetts Class D/Low Voltage License or similar is required for field work.
• OSHA 10 certification preferred; ongoing training encouraged.

Responsibilities

• Perform on-site service, inspections, and repairs of fire alarm systems for scheduled customers.
• Conduct system testing and inspections to prescribed standards and applicable codes.
• Diagnose and troubleshoot system faults and wiring issues; perform repairs as needed.
• Identify code compliance and non-conformance issues and communicate solutions to customers.
