Job summary

A premier staffing firm is seeking a candidate for field work in fiber optic installation and testing. The role involves conducting site surveys, monitoring installation activities, and ensuring compliance with safety guidelines. Candidates should have a high school diploma and a working knowledge of fiber optic testing procedures. This position requires excellent customer interaction skills and the ability to provide daily progress reports. Experience in fiber optics is a plus.

Qualifications

• Working knowledge of spreadsheets, word processing software, and email applications.
• Ability to troubleshoot using Optical Time Domain Reflectometers (OTDR), Visual Fault Locators (VFL).

Responsibilities

• Conduct pre-construction site surveys and monitor fiber optic construction activities.
• Conduct weekly safety audits and provide daily progress reports.
• Visit customers to ensure satisfaction and discuss new projects.
