Job summary

NexTier Completion Solutions Inc. is seeking a Digital Solutions Engineer/Technical Product Lead to bridge field operations and software development.

You will translate field needs into validated software requirements and guide cross-functional teams through development, testing, and field validation. This role blends operational experience with product ownership, prioritizing backlog items, coordinating SMEs, and ensuring successful field implementation and adoption while measuring performance

Qualifications

3-5 Years of Hydraulic Fracturing Engineering Experience.
4 Year STEM / Engineering Bachelor's Degree.
Strong analytical and problem-solving capability.
Ability to translate operational workflows into technical requirements.
Experience working with software, controls, or digital-product teams.
Strong stakeholder and SME facilitation skills.
Understanding of Agile and software-development processes.

Responsibilities

Clarify the operational problem and desired business outcome.
Translate operational workflows into functional requirements, user stories, and acceptance criteria.
Coordinate access to SMEs for additional input.
Support backlog refinement, scope clarification, prioritization, and release planning.
Define operational and functional acceptance criteria and coordinate testing.
Assist field implementation, training, readiness, and adoption.
Define and track product KPIs and utilization.
