Job summary

NGL Energy Partners LP is seeking a Facility Technician in Carlsbad, NM. The role focuses on collecting and auditing facilities, ensuring sample integrity and accurate reporting to management.

You will support testing, analysis, and compliance efforts through precise data handling and routine inspections. You will work at various facilities, maintaining sampling equipment, adhering to safety and regulatory standards, and collaborating with the Water management team to implement treatment plans

Qualifications

• HS diploma or GED preferred.
• 4 years of experience in the oil and gas industry preferred.
• Valid Driver's License is required and driving record must be clean, with limited violations in past years.

Responsibilities

• Audit facilities to measure tank bottoms, pad, and oil.
• Collect routine and non-routine samples from facilities and submit to labs for analysis.
• Identify safety, environmental, and production impacts and report findings to the Water management team.
• Maintain and calibrate sampling equipment and ensure proper maintenance of analysis tools.
• Generate and maintain reports for each facility detailing sample collection and results.
• Ensure samples are analyzed per industry standards and regulatory requirements.
• Adhere to OSHA and company safety policies at all times.
• Travel frequently to SWD locations within a region; be prepared for out-of-town trips.
