Job summary

Kohl's is seeking a Field Facilities Specialist to perform maintenance and handyman services across its stores. You will handle interior and exterior repairs, ensure tools and materials are available, and communicate issues and resolutions to store leadership.

The role requires reliability, effective communication, and hands-on maintenance skills. Responsibilities include completing work orders, performing electrical/lighting tasks, flooring and carpentry work, and coordinating with contractors

Qualifications

• 2-4 years of prior maintenance work with focus on door, plumbing, electrical/lighting and handyman services.
• Experience in retail or office building maintenance is preferred.
• Familiarity with general maintenance tools and tasks.

Responsibilities

• Complete work orders as assigned by supervisor timely and accurate.
• Ensure materials and tools needed are available and kept in good condition.
• Perform interior store repairs focusing on doors, plumbing, lighting and carpentry.
• Perform exterior maintenance and minor common area repairs.
• Communicate safety and cleanliness issues and action plans to resolve.
• Enter issues into Web Based Facilities Management system for assignment and follow-up.
