Job summary

PennWest California Campus is seeking a Field Services Coordinator to lead field experiences for teacher education programs. This role manages student teaching placements, builds district partnerships, and ensures compliance with PDE reporting requirements.

The Coordinator will work with the College of Education, Arts and Humanities to align field experiences, process data, and support program accreditation across campuses. Strong data skills and travel flexibility are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree and at least 3 years of experience in K-12 school systems.
• Strong knowledge of Pennsylvania Department of Education Teacher Certification.
• Knowledge of PA K-12 public school administration.
• Experience with Microsoft Office programs including Access.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to extract and analyze data.
• Ability to liaise with multiple academic departments and school districts on behalf of the College.
• Willingness to travel locally and overnight occasionally.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and ensure completion of all student teaching placements and field placements.
• Communicate with regional school administration and maintain relationships to ensure placement availability.
• Facilitate the articulation agreement process with participating school districts.
• Serve as liaison with cooperating teachers, administrators and other designated personnel in matters related to field experience and student teaching.
• Coordinate the payment of stipends to cooperating teachers.
• Develop and maintain regional partnership activities.
• Assist with data collection and reporting for PDE, Title II, PEDS, and CAEP.
• Maintain data sets and provide reports to faculty and Deans.
