Job summary

NorthMark Compute & Cloud is seeking an experienced Construction Superintendent to serve as the on-site field execution authority at our Spartanburg HPC facility. You will own daily trade sequencing and schedule execution, directing the general contractor's field teams and coordinating with subcontractors to ensure progress aligns with the master schedule.

The role reports to the Director, Construction & Commissioning, working with the MEP Manager and QAQC/Commissioning teams to ensure readiness

Qualifications

8+ years of hands-on field superintendent experience on commercial/industrial construction.
Direct trade experience in at least one construction discipline.
Proven ability to resolve complex cross-trade sequencing on live sites.
Strong working knowledge of coordination drawings, RFIs, and docs across MEP/structural/architectural scopes.
OSHA 30 certification.
High school diploma required; trade certification a plus.

Responsibilities

Own and maintain master construction schedule; drive cross-trade sequencing across disciplines.
Direct daily field coordination with GC superintendents and subcontractors; resolve sequencing conflicts.
Conduct site walks to verify progress per sequence and schedule; maintain look-ahead schedules.
Enforce site safety plans and OSHA compliance; issue stop-work authority when needed.
Provide schedule/field-progress updates to leadership; coordinate with MEP and QAQC/Commissioning teams.
