Job summary

NEBCO, Inc. is seeking a field technician to perform preventative maintenance, diagnostics, and repairs on a fleet of forklifts and material-handling equipment across Lincoln and southeast Nebraska.

The role requires reading service manuals and schematics, strong troubleshooting, and the ability to manage multiple service needs. Responsibilities include safety inspections, maintenance logs, and coordinating with supervisors.

Qualifications

• Degree or certification in a related technical program.
• 1 year of field technician maintenance/repair experience.
• Combination of education, training, and experience may apply.

Responsibilities

• Performs routing preventative maintenance on forklifts and related equipment.
• Diagnoses and repairs electrical, hydraulic, mechanical, and drivetrain systems.
• Travels between NEBCO locations in Lincoln and southeast Nebraska as needed.
• Inspects equipment for safety, operation and condition.
• Maintains accurate service records and repair logs.
