Job summary

Helena Agri-Enterprises, LLC is seeking a Field Equipment Specialist for the Midwest/West Central region. You will serve as a primary technical contact for field locations, coordinating vendor services and training applicators in the use of GPS and data systems.

You will monitor equipment uptime and support calibration and setup tasks. The role requires a bachelor’s degree in agriculture mechanics or related field with 2+ years of experience, or a HS diploma with 6 years of relevant experience.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in agriculture mechanics, agriculture business, computer science or business administration with two years of related work experience incl. applicator/operator equipment and GPS installation/service.
• Alternatively, HS diploma with six years of related experience including GPS-based systems and components.

Responsibilities

• Visit locations to inspect equipment and drive maintenance cost improvements.
• Coordinate preventative maintenance inspections with vendors annually.
• Arrange operator training to improve operation and maintenance of equipment.
• Support locations with training programs for applicator certification credits.
