Job summary

Inframark's Civil and Environmental Engineering team is seeking an Equipment Operator (Operations) to support water and utility projects in our Macon, GA operations. The role involves operating excavation, trenching and lifting equipment, performing daily inspections, and ensuring safe, reliable field operations.

You'll work with utility crews, transport tools and materials, and assist with pipeline and water main work.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 2–4 years of utility or field equipment operation.
• CDL license preferred.
• Knowledge of water/wastewater systems a plus.

Responsibilities

• Operate excavation, trenching, and lifting equipment.
• Assist with pipeline, water main, and wastewater system work.
• Perform daily inspections and maintenance of equipment.
• Transport tools, materials, and equipment to sites.
• Support crews in utility operations and emergency response.
