Job summary

Vinmar Recycling Solutions in Baton Rouge, LA is seeking a Field Equipment Operator to operate heavy equipment at chemical plants and manufacturing facilities. You will support sustainability through the Operation Clean Sweep program, helping minimize plastic pellet and powder loss.

Qualifications

Must be 18+ and legally eligible to work in the U.S.
Able to pass drug screen, physical, and background check
Speak, read, and write fluent English
Possession or potential to obtain Driver's License and/or TWIC may be required

Responsibilities

Operate and maintain industrial equipment such as vacuum trucks, mobile packaging units, trailer transfer units, and roll-off trucks safely and efficiently
Ensure equipment complies with safe work practices, policies, and procedures
Assist in packaging, unloading, and transferring materials in railcars when needed
Work with sumps, drains, trenches, reactors, and silos, including confined spaces when required
Complete paperwork and communicate effectively with customer representatives
Follow all company and site safety procedures while operating machinery
Adhere to OSHA safety standards and maintain safety consciousness at all times
Perform any other duties to complete the job
