Job summary

Pike Electric, Inc. is seeking a Field Mechanic to work at various locations in Florida and beyond. The role may require travel to other states based on customer demands and project needs.

You will handle maintenance and repair of equipment ranging from cranes to small tools, perform diagnostics, and manage equipment deployment while adhering to safety protocols and company policies. Strong physical stamina and ability to lift over 50 lbs are required.

Qualifications

• 1–5 years of experience required.
• CDL license required within 60 days.
• Own general tools.
• Ability to travel long distances on short notice.
• Must be able to lift in excess of 50 lbs and perform rigorous physical labor.
• Experience or schooling in mechanics.
• Knowledge of hydraulics, diesel/gas engines, chassis and suspension, welding.

Responsibilities

• Deploy equipment across regions, cities and states.
• Perform repairs or maintenance on equipment at job sites.
• Troubleshoot equipment issues in various locations.
• Maintain company vehicles, equipment and tools.
• Work around energized high voltage systems safely.
• Assist with equipment setup and grounding.
• Follow safety rules and company policies.
