Altec is seeking a skilled equipment mechanic to join a nationwide team of over 45 service centers and mobile technicians. You will handle electrical, hydraulic, and mechanical repairs, using manuals and technical resources to troubleshoot and identify parts needed for service.

The ideal candidate has experience with heavy equipment or related machinery and can work overtime as required. Altec emphasizes safety, strong customer relations, and a commitment to quality workmanship across the U.S.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma, GED or equivalent required.
• Strong interpersonal, customer service, and organizational skills.
• Ability to operate and move objects up to 75 pounds; physically demanding role.
• Willingness to work overtime as needed.

Responsibilities

• Replace electrical, hydraulic, and mechanical components.
• Use manuals and resources to troubleshoot and identify parts needed for repair.
• Perform Unit Condition Inspections and prepare Reports.
• Maintain a safe, clean, and orderly work area.
• Adhere to Altec Safety practices and report any issues affecting customers.
