Union Pacific Corporation is seeking a Work Equipment Mechanic in Ranger, TX to maintain and repair tools, equipment, and machines for the engineering department. You'll work with various equipment to help ensure Union Pacific can continue to safely and efficiently transport goods across North America.

Required certifications include becoming a Union Pacific certified driver during probation, and possibly a CDL if operating heavy vehicles. FMCSA medical qualifications apply.

Qualificações

• 4 years of verifiable experience as a diesel or heavy equipment mechanic or Journeyman's card.
• Must read and understand safety rules and operate with safe work habits.
• Proficient communication and ability to deliver information clearly.

Responsabilidades

• Inspect tools, roadway machines, vehicles and equipment.
• Perform maintenance and repair; troubleshoot malfunctions.
• Coordinate with coworkers and supervisors to plan work.
• Follow safety rules and FRA/Company procedures.
