Job summary

Spur Environmental Services is seeking an Environmental Services Technician to join a self-motivated, safety-conscious team in Texas. Work outdoors with heavy equipment, manage daily tasks, and support project crews while adhering to site safety plans.

Expect a demanding schedule with early starts, overtime, and possible weekend work. You will operate power washers and vacuum equipment, utilize forklifts and other machinery, and promote teamwork across the crew on remediation projects.

Qualifications

• Must have reliable transportation to/from work.
• Class C license required.
• Ability to work a flexible work schedule including overtime and periodic weekends.
• Travel periodically.
• Required to be clean shaven to wear a respirator.
• High School Diploma or GED equivalent preferred.
• Good driving record with less than 3 violations in the last 3 years.
• Ability to pass pre-employment background checks and drug screening.
• Basic computer skills to clock In/Out, Upload Project Photos and Notes into App.
• Promote teamwork.

Responsibilities

• Operate industrial power washers (4,000 - 40,000 psi) and supported vacuum equipment to clean pits, sumps, tanks and trailers.
• Move and handle materials, sweep or shovel waste into appropriate packaging.
• Operate a forklift, aerial lift, skid steer, loader or other machinery as needed.
• Maintain a safe work area and look out for team safety.
• Demobilize and restock supplies and PPE for the next day.
