Job summary

ACNR Coal Services Group seeks an Environmental Stream Scientist to collect and document surface waters for quality, quantity, and subsidence information. The role reports to the Stream Supervisor and is based at the Eighty Four, PA Livingston Portal.

The candidate will operate company vehicles, document results, and communicate issues. Responsibilities include stream delineations, benthic collection, data analysis, and supporting mitigation while maintaining safety and landowner respect.

Qualifications

• Experience leading field teams and coordinating field activities.
• Ability to interpret permit maps for field sampling locations.

Responsibilities

• Operate company vehicles to field sites and conduct daily inspections.
• Document field sampling and inspection results through logs and QA/QC forms.
• Communicate water quality and scheduling issues to supervisor.
• Conduct stream and wetland delineations and benthic collections.
• Perform longitudinal stream profiling and data analysis.
• Oversee mitigation activities and ensure landowner respect and safety.
