Job summary

ECC is seeking a Staff Environmental Scientist, Geologist or Engineer to support environmental remediation and hazardous waste projects in the New England area. The role involves preparing reports, analyzing site data, field sampling, and coordinating multiple tasks to meet budgets and schedules.

Ideal candidates hold a Bachelor’s degree in Life, Earth or Natural Sciences, Geology, Engineering, or Hydrogeology.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Life, Earth or Natural Sciences, Geology, Engineering, Hydrogeology, or related field.
• No previous experience required but internship preferred.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Prepare environmental reports and plans under direct supervision.
• Analyze environmental/site/material data.
• Perform cross-disciplinary safety/quality, project controls, procurement and estimating duties as assigned.
• Report to the site and conduct field sampling, construction, engineering, and other field support services.
• Maintain budget and schedule for assigned tasks.
• Apply industry standards and regulatory criteria to projects.
