Job summary

Atlas is growing its Arizona team and seeking Biologists and/or Environmental Scientists to contribute to complex infrastructure projects across the United States. This role focuses on field surveys, regulatory compliance, and report preparation for client and agency deliverables.

The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor’s degree in environmental sciences and 3+ years of experience in environmental compliance, with willingness to travel up to 25% and experience in Arizona regulatory frameworks.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Science, Biology, Ecology, or a related field.
• Minimum of 3+ years of relevant professional experience leading biological compliance activities.
• Experience in habitat assessments, surveys, and regulatory permit applications.
• Willingness to travel up to 25% of the time.

Responsibilities

• Lead biological surveys and prepare client/agency deliverables.
• Ensure compliance with ADEQ, ASLD, AZPDES, and federal Clean Water Act requirements.
• Coordinate SWPPP, PJD surveys, and vegetation management.
• Communicate technical information to clients and regulatory agencies.
• Maintain field records using GPS/GIS tools.
