Job summary

Mabbett & Associates, Inc. (Mabbett®) is seeking a full-time Environmental Sampling Technician to collect, test, and document samples of soil, water, air, and waste across field sites.

The role blends fieldwork with lab activities, supporting regulatory compliance and remediation activities in diverse environments. You will follow established protocols, maintain logs, calibrate equipment, and assist with field reports while adhering to OSHA and safety plans.

Qualifications

• Associate degree in environmental sciences, chemistry, biology, or a related field.
• 2 years of environmental sampling and monitoring equipment preferred.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and data documentation.

Responsibilities

• Collect soil, groundwater, surface water, air, and waste samples following protocols.
• Record field notes, maintain sampling logs, and document observations.
• Assist with field reports, chain-of-custody, and data summaries.
• Operate and calibrate field monitoring equipment; adhere to safety plans.
