Responsibilities

  • Lead and support field activities for environmental remediation projects, including soil, groundwater, surface water, sediment, and air sampling; drilling oversight; lithologic logging; monitoring well installation or abandonment; and remedial system operation and monitoring.
  • Work safely and effectively on active construction and remediation sites, including coordination with subcontractors, drillers, equipment operators, trades, and project field teams.
  • Use GIS, GPS, and related geospatial tools to collect, manage, analyze, and present field data. Develop maps, figures, and spatial products using ArcGIS Pro, ArcGIS Field Maps, Trimble or comparable platforms.
  • Prepare and review high-quality technical documents such as work plans, sampling and analysis plans, quality assurance or quality control plans, field reports, remedial action reports, construction completion reports, regulatory submittals, and proposal content.
  • Evaluate environmental and laboratory data; prepare tables, graphs, figures, and statistical summaries; and communicate findings and recommendations to project teams and clients.
  • Support remedial design and planning, field implementation, quality control, project scheduling, cost estimating, and subcontractor management.
  • Interpret field conditions and project data, identify issues, and make timely recommendations with support from senior technical staff as needed.
  • Collaborate with project managers, engineers, scientists, and geologists to meet client requirements, budgets, schedules, and CAPE technical quality standards.
  • Mentor junior staff and contribute to the continued development of field procedures, data-management practices, and technical deliverables.
