Job summary

Apex Companies is seeking an Environmental Engineer to join our Manassas, VA team. This hands-on role focuses on fieldwork, groundwater monitoring, sampling, and supporting a broad range of environmental projects with 80% field time.

You will assist with data evaluation, reporting, and technical deliverables while utilizing GIS and CAD tools. Travel to project sites in Northern and Central Virginia is required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Environmental or Civil Engineering required.
• Field, environmental consulting experience preferred.
• Ability to work in various weather conditions.
• Strong documentation and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Conduct groundwater monitoring and data evaluation.
• Perform soil, groundwater, surface water, and air sampling.
• Support remediation and environmental investigations.
• Assist with project documentation and reporting.
• Utilize GIS and CAD tools as needed.
• Travel across Northern and Central Virginia.
