Job summary

Kinetik is seeking an Environmental Compliance Specialist to support field operations across gas plants, compressor stations, and gathering systems. You will help achieve environmental goals by coordinating compliance programs, audits, and regulatory reporting.

The role requires problem-solving, quick learning, and clear communication, with regular field presence and collaboration with the North Delaware Manager of Environmental Compliance. Strong data handling and MS Office skills are essential.

Qualifications

• 2 years of experience in an oil and gas related field of operations, maintenance or EHS position.
• Strong written and verbal communication.
• Possess and maintain a valid driver’s license to include a safe driving record satisfactory to the company.

Responsibilities

• Assist management, operations, and project/maintenance teams to assure compliance with federal, state, local and corporate rules and regulations pertaining to environmental aspects and impacts.
• Assist with organizing, planning, implementing, and auditing environmental programs and policies for the operation, ensuring compliance as required by regulatory agencies and corporate policy.
• Ensure compliance with permits by aiding Environmental Specialists in monitoring and recordkeeping.
• Assist with waste and remediation activities, ensuring regulatory compliance, including manifests and reporting.
• Oversee third party remediation crews to ensure safety and proper methods in the field.
• Assist with review of MOC’s for environmental impacts, including NSR compliance and permitting processes as needed.
• Ensure SPCC compliance and assist with spill response and remediation activities and reporting to authorities.
• Communicate updates on EHS releases, permit deviations, and enforcement status to management meetings.
