Job summary
Michels Corporation is seeking an Environmental Coordinator II to coordinate and document field environmental compliance on a power transmission line project. You will review scopes of work, draft permits and compliance plans, collect and analyze samples, and track regulatory reporting requirements.
The role requires 5+ years in environmental compliance, a relevant degree, and strong communication skills. This is a full-time, 24-month+ construction assignment near project locations in the
Qualifications
- Bachelor or Associate degree with emphasis in environmental studies; advanced training or education in Environmental or Technical Field may be acceptable.
- 5+ years of environmental compliance or related construction experience.
- Knowledgeable with storm water best management, process water control, waste storage and disposal, general air compliance, and fuel storage.
Responsibilities
- Coordinate and document field environmental compliance on a power transmission line construction project.
- Review scopes of work, draft construction permits and compliance plans, collect and analyze multi-media sampling, and track regulatory reporting requirements.
- Perform environmental observations and audits and liaise with construction teams on compliance issues.
- Support regional Northeast projects following project completion.
