Job summary

Michels Corporation seeks an Environmental Coordinator II to coordinate and document field environmental compliance on a power transmission line construction project. You will review scopes of work, draft permits and compliance plans, collect samples, perform observations and audits, and manage regulatory reporting.

This full-time role (24-month+ construction project) requires a Bachelor or Associate degree in environmental studies or related field and 5+ years of environmental compliance

Qualifications

• Strong interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office, with preference for Advanced Excel.
• Knowledge of storm water, process water, waste storage and disposal, air compliance, and fuel storage.
• Ability to communicate with diverse audiences and work with construction teams.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and document field environmental compliance on a power transmission line construction project.
• Review scopes of work, draft construction permits and compliance plans.
• Collect and analyze multi-media sampling, perform environmental observations and audits.
• Track and manage regulatory reporting requirements.
