Job summary

AECOM is seeking an Environmental Construction Monitor for projects local to our Boston, MA office. You will oversee erosion controls, dewatering, cofferdams, dust control and hazardous materials handling while ensuring permit compliance.

You will perform site inspections, prepare inspection reports, review submittals, and assist with environmental permit applications and amendments. US citizenship and a valid driver's license are required.

Qualifications

• BA/BS + 4 years of experience or demonstrated equivalency of experience and/or education.
• NPDES permitting experience.
• Demonstrated experience in construction environments.
• Due to the nature of work, US Citizenship is required.
• Valid Driver’s License and must pass MVR review.

Responsibilities

• Field oversight of erosion and sedimentation controls, dewatering, cofferdam work and hazardous materials management.
• Perform field site inspections to ensure NPDES/permit compliance.
• Prepare inspection reports and review construction submittals.
• Prepare environmental permit applications and amendments.
• Assess wetland mitigation areas to meet performance standards.
