MBP (McDonough Bolyard Peck) seeks an Environmental Compliance Inspector to support projects across Western Virginia near Roanoke. The role requires at least 2 years' experience with state and federal environmental regulations, including ESC/SWM programs, and the ability to work independently in the field.

Responsibilities include inspecting activities, reporting noncompliance, providing guidance to contractors, and maintaining daily records.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years with state and federal environmental regulations.
• Experience with ESC measures, SWPPP, SWM BMPs, and MS4 programs.
• Reading and interpretation of ESC and SWM plans and specs.

Responsibilities

• Inspect construction activities and report ESC and SWM noncompliance.
• Provide guidance during inspections and communicate findings to stakeholders.
• Maintain daily records of environmental compliance observations.
• Interpret regulations and apply best practices on site.
• Travel to project sites across Western Virginia as needed.
