Job summary

MBP is seeking a full-time Environmental Compliance Inspector to support projects across Western Virginia, including Roanoke, Martinsville, and Danville. The ideal candidate will have at least 2 years of experience with state and federal environmental regulations, specifically regarding stormwater management and erosion control.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years of experience with state and federal environmental regulations.
• Experience with ESC measures and SWM BMPs.
• Ability to interpret and apply environmental laws.

Responsibilities

• Inspect construction activities for environmental compliance.
• Perform daily record keeping of project activities.
• Provide technical guidance during inspections.

Skills

Experience with Virginia ESC and SWM inspections

Written and oral communication skills

Proficiency with Microsoft Office and Internet

Ability to operate safely at construction sites
