Job summary

Michels Corporation is seeking an Environmental Coordinator II to support a 24-month+ construction project on a power transmission line. You will coordinate field environmental compliance, review scopes, draft permits, collect samples, and track regulatory reporting to keep the project on schedule and within standards.

Ideal candidates hold a Bachelor or Associate degree in environmental studies or a related field, with 5+ years of environmental compliance experience.

Qualifications

• Bachelor or Associate degree in environmental studies, natural sciences, engineering, or related field.
• 5+ years of environmental compliance or related construction experience.
• Knowledge of storm water management, process water control, waste storage and disposal, air compliance, fuel storage.
• Strong interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills; organized and detail-oriented.
• Ability to communicate with diverse audiences in-person and via technology (PowerPoint, Teams).

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and document field environmental compliance on a power transmission line construction project.
• Review scopes of work, draft construction permits and compliance plans.
• Collect and analyze multi-media sampling and perform environmental observations and audits.
• Track and manage regulatory reporting requirements.
