Job summary

Threshold Giving, in partnership with the Sierra Club, is seeking an Environmental Advocate to engage communities and inspire support for land, air, water, and climate initiatives in Tampa / St. Petersburg, FL.

As a face-to-face fundraiser, you will talk with the public on streets and events, share campaigns, recruit monthly donors, and help meet program goals while delivering a positive, informative experience.

Qualifications

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Comfortable working outdoors and interacting with the public daily.
• Reliable and self-motivated; prior sales/fundraising experience is a plus but not required.
• Must complete two weeks of full-time training; weekend availability required for some schedules.

Responsibilities

• Engage the public with passion and professionalism while representing Threshold Giving and the Sierra Club.
• Share impactful stories and campaigns to recruit new monthly supporters.
• Meet goals while maintaining accurate records and a positive presence.
