Bunnell-Lammons Engineering, Inc. is seeking a Project Engineering Technician I for our Marion, North Carolina location.

You will work under supervision to perform inspections and sampling, collecting concrete, soil, and other site materials while supporting quality assurance on construction projects. Ideal candidates are entry-level, have a high school diploma or GED, and are prepared to obtain required certifications within three months and the remaining within two years.

Qualifications

• Must be at least eighteen (18) years of age.
• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Valid Driver's License with clean record (3 years).
• Ability to work outdoors on a construction site in all seasons and weather conditions.
• Self-motivated and able to work independently.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills with team members and authorities.
• Detail oriented with time-conscious work habits.
• Basic computer/smartphone operation for records (Word, Excel, Outlook).
• Ability to stand, walk, kneel, stoop, bend, lift up to 50 pounds on uneven ground.

Responsibilities

• Assist engineers and site managers in performing inspections and sampling.
• Prepare daily reports with test results and site observations for the project engineer.
• Support quality assurance activities for construction projects of various sizes.
