Qualifications

• Eng Tech IV requires 6+ years of related experience; coursework/degree may substitute on a year-for-year basis.
• Eng Tech III requires 4+ years of related experience; coursework/degree may substitute on a year-for-year basis.
• Eng Tech II requires 2+ years of related experience; coursework/degree may substitute on a year-for-year basis.
• Eng Tech I requires a high school diploma or GED with basic understanding of job concepts.

Responsibilities

• Conduct field inspections for various construction projects ensuring compliance with plans, specs and contracts.
• Use MicroStation to measure and create reports and plan sheets for construction projects.
• Test road and bridge materials to ensure compliance with NDDOT specifications.
• Assist project engineers with final records and district design work requiring MicroStation.
