Job summary

PG&E seeks an on-site Maintenance/Construction/Operations professional in Alta. The role supports scheduling, cost control, and field engineering activities under supervision. You will prepare drawings, manage materials, and assist in contract and purchase order workflows.

Requirements include a California driver’s license, a high school diploma or GED, PPE, and the ability to lift up to 75 pounds. This is an hourly wage position with the local wage rate in effect.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• High School diploma, GED or equivalent work experience.
• Must have a valid California Driver's License.
• Must be able to wear PPE and lift up to 75 pounds daily.

Responsibilities

• Assist in planning, scheduling and cost-control activities under supervision.
• Support Senior Field Engineering Technicians and Field Engineers.
• Maintain schedule and cost-control files and index data.
• Prepare field drawings and construction notes.
• Perform contract management and purchase order activities.
• Work in all weather conditions and extended hours as needed.
