The Opportunity

As a Field Engineering Specialist, you will:

• Showcase expertise in technical repair and installation for Roche product lines
• Provide valuable service to laboratory customers in your territory
• Offer routine technical support, on-site service, repair, and installation
• Serve as a customer contact for technical issues and perform preventative maintenance
• Diagnose and resolve hardware, software, and system failures
• Document activities, contribute to quality improvement, and maximize customer satisfaction

This is a field-based role in Utah. The ideal candidate should live within 50 miles of Salt Lake City International Airport.

Travel Requirements

Up to 60% travel, including overnight trips, some holidays, and weekends.

Who You Are

• High school diploma plus 2 years of technical training or equivalent experience
• 5 years of experience in mechanical/system hardware and software repair or networking, or a degree plus 1-2 years of relevant experience
• Successful training or certification as per RD Services Leadership
• Ability to travel, including overnight stays

Preferred Qualifications

• 8+ years of experience or a relevant degree plus 4+ years of experience
• Advanced knowledge of electronics, electro-mechanical systems, and basic chemistry
• Ability to support after hours and maintain strong customer relationships

Relocation benefits are available. The salary range is $68,900 to $127,900, based on experience and location. A discretionary bonus may apply.
